Former Numerator & Surgere executives join HIVERY to support customer growth in North America.

Bentonville, AR, USA July 27, 2022 - Today, HIVERY announced the expansion of its sales executive team with the appointment of Emily Yost and Brian Ruhaak as demand for HIVERY’s solution continues.

Over the past 18 months, HIVERY has seen impressive growth working with 25 of the top 50 global Consumer Package (CPG) Brands and in over 100 categories. This has attracted new capital with the completion of the Series B round, media attention from recent TechCrunch reports and industry analysts, prompting CB Insights to name HIVERY as one of the top 100 retail tech companies in the world.  


To this end, we are super excited to announce the appointments of Emily Yost and Brian Ruhaak as our newest Sales Directors.


Emily joins HIVERY from Numerator. With years of experience within the CPG and Retail industries leveraging data insights to guide decision-making, Emily has a strong passion for doing what’s right for her customers to drive more value.

Before joining HIVERY, Brian was responsible for strategic accounts and new business sales at Surgere, a supply chain visibility software company.   


He adds, “HIVERY solutions have the unique ability to operationalize insights. Suppliers and Retailers spend a massive amount of time analyzing and developing insights and then additional months translating those insights into assortment plans and planograms. HIVERY allows users to rapidly “test’ insights through running different assortment strategy simulations and determines the financial impact. This allows you to execute the right assortment plan in stores.


HIVERY is set to grow to over 150 people within the next 12 months across North America and Australia, so finding people who share HIVERY’s entrepreneurial spirit was something both Emily and Brian valued.

Before Surgere, Brian worked at Information Resources Inc. as a Data Insights Consultant supporting CPG manufacturers in Consumer and Shopper Marketing initiatives, so like Emily, both appreciate the importance of good technology, data, and what the industry needs.
